Happy Fourth of July As we celebrate Independence Day and America's 250th birthday, all of us at TownHouse wish you, your family, and your furry companions a safe, happy holiday filled with sunshine, relaxation, and plenty of tail wags (and purrs!).TownHouse will be closed on Saturday, July 4, for drop-offs and pick-ups. Overnight stays during the holiday week require a two-night minimum.
Once the fireworks fade, we'll keep the summer fun rolling with plenty of playtime, enrichment, splashes in the pool, and lots of love and attention. Take a look at what we have planned for our guests next week! Fireworks & Four-Legged Friends
For many of us, fireworks are the grand finale of the Fourth of July. For our pets... not so much.
The loud booms and flashing lights can be confusing or even scary, so it's best to keep dogs and cats safely indoors during the festivities. If possible, help your pup burn off a little extra energy with a long walk, a game of fetch, or plenty of playtime before the fireworks begin. A tired dog is often a calmer dog. Close the windows, turn on the TV or some soft music, and create a cozy space where they can relax. It's also a great time to double-check that collars, ID tags, and microchip information are up to date, just in case.
With a little planning, everyone can enjoy a safe and happy holiday. And if your pet's favorite way to celebrate America is sleeping through the fireworks, we completely understand!
