When federal funding for public media was clawed back last July, thousands of you answered the call to keep LAist standing as the ground beneath us shifted.

Those donations helped close the gap in a crisis moment, and we are deeply grateful for every single one. But a temporary surge cannot permanently replace missing foundational support.
