Sunshine, Spring, and Wagging Tails
Spring celebrations are in full swing, which means sweet treats, egg hunts, and a lot of very hopeful dogs watching your every move. Whether you’re celebrating Easter or just enjoying the season, here’s a quick cheat sheet to keep things fun and safe, because nobody wants an emergency vet visit in the middle of brunch.
Some popular seasonal goodies aren’t dog-friendly, but with a few easy swaps, your pup can still feel like part of the festivities and probably assume the whole thing is for them anyway. What To SkipChocolate, xylitol (a common sugar substitute), grapes and raisins, macadamia nuts, and plastic Easter grass all need to stay out of reach.Dog-Friendly Treats
Carrot sticks, hard-boiled eggs that are plain and peeled, frozen yogurt with peanut butter, blueberries, apple slices without seeds, banana, and simple homemade cookies made with oats, pumpkin, and eggs are all great options.Build a Doggie BasketAdd a toy, a few treats, and maybe a cute bandana for a festive touch. We also have lots of goodies available at TownHouse if you want to grab something special.
