Happy Pets, Happy Humans With Father’s Day on the horizon, we’ve been thinking about the special place pets hold in our families. After all, to your dog, you’re the provider of walks, treats, belly rubs, and all the best adventures. To your cat, you’re the keeper of the food bowl, which is arguably even more important.
Next week, we’re celebrating those everyday connections while keeping our guests entertained, enriched, and spoiled with plenty of fun and attention. 
Dog Enrichment ActivitiesSchedule a balance of learning and fun in your pup's days at Town House! These activities can be added to your dog's daycare or boarding stays, and will be handled by our staff. June 15th Mighty Monday Challenge: Tunnels & Place Pups will race through tunnels and then practice settling into a designated place command, combining speed with self-control.
June 16th Training Tuesday: Name Recognition & Recall Level up your dog’s manners with a fun focus session! We’re mastering name recognition and perfecting "come when called" through high-value training games. More focus for them, better walks for you. This is a one-on-one 15-minute session, but if there's something your dog needs to work on, please let us know, and we can easily incorporate it into your pup's regular daycare or boarding stay. We'll also have our Woofle (doggy waffle) add-on available.
June 17th Agility Enrichment: Ultimate Agility Course
For Agility Enrichment, we’ll set up a challenging agility course designed to keep pups moving, thinking, and having fun as they navigate a variety of obstacles and activities.
June 18th Crafty Canines: Dog Dad Photoshoot In honor of all the dog dads out there, we're setting up a special Father's Day-themed photoshoot. The perfect opportunity for a heartfelt keepsake. We’ll text you a digital copy of the edited photo to share or use as your wallpaper.
June 19th Gym Class Friday: World Cup Woof-Off The pups are taking the field for a World Cup-themed soccer showdown! We'll set up a soccer game where dogs can chase, nudge, and score their way to victory while burning off plenty of energy.

Paws and Reflect... Is Your Dog Licensed?
June is here, which means it's officially dog license renewal season in Connecticut.
It may not be as exciting as a new squeaky toy or a trip to the dog park, but keeping your dog's license current helps keep them safe and ensures their rabies vaccination is up to date. It also makes it easier for them to find their way home if they ever go on an unplanned neighborhood adventure.
As a reminder, facilities like TownHouse are required by law to keep a current dog license on file for all canine guests. If you haven't renewed yet, now is a great time to check it off your list.
For your convenience, here’s a link to Westport’s dog licensing information, including details on new licenses and renewals. If you live in a nearby town, a quick search online should help you find the right info for your area. And of course, if you need a hand, we’re always happy to help!
